13th International Helicopter Industry Exhibition HeliRussia 2020

The 13th International Helicopter Industry Exhibition HeliRussia 2020 will be held in Moscow from 21 to 23 May next year in accordance with the Russian Federation Government Decree No. 2403-r dated 30, October 2017. The expo will take place in halls N3 and 4 of the 1st pavillion, Crocus Expo IEC.

HeliRussia is the biggest helicopter expo in Europe and North Asia that gathers people from around the world. The expo runs yearly since 2008 and showcases all products and services of the helicopter industry, including the military.

HeliRussia today has become one of the central events for Russian and foreign aerospace companies. HeliRussia features various business activities: novelties are shown, contracts are signed, key issues are discussed, trends are formed, winners of industry competitions are awarded. The expo allows to build and develop business ties, establish inter- and cross-industry cooperation and to develop government relations.

Previous edition, HeliRussia 2019, was held from 24 to 26 May in Moscow. It gathered 246 companies including 49 internationals from 19 countries: Australia, Belarus, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Korea, Libya, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Russia, Spain, UK, and the USA. Last year, 237 companies took part in the exhibition, 50 of them were foreign. This number remains at the level of previous events and confirms the stability and interest of Russian aerospace market for domestic and foreign companies.

18 helicopters were showcased at the expo in 2019, 3 of which are premieres (VRT500, “Kasatka 505” and Bell 505 Jet Ranger X) and one being military (Mi-171Sh). Also, 12 models of UAVs were demonstrated, among which 2 new models were shown for the first time.

22 companies presented military products, 20 which were Russian and 2 foreign.

The indoors exhibition area of HeliRussia 2019 occupied two halls and amounted to 12,600 square meters. The area of the open exposition was 1 000 sq. m. Total exhibition space measured up to 13 600 square meters.

The International Helicopter Industry Exhibition HeliRussia is the only international expo in Russia where companies from Russia and other countries present world achievements in every helicopter industry segment, from design and manufacture to operation.

The expo is held in accordance with the Russian Government decree and allows demonstrating military purpose products which raises the prestige of the event and makes it possible to exchange ideas and experience between Russian and foreign designers and manufacturers of helicopters, special equipment as well as navigation, communication and control systems. The organizer of the exhibition is the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
